Bank Deposits

The preferred payment method is the “Make Payment” link in the CMB online system. Brandon University’s bank is the CIBC. IntraComm accounts for direct deposit to Brandon University’s CIBC have been arranged at all centres that have a local CIBC. Currently, those are Flin Flon, Thompson, The Pas, Dauphin, Carman and Southport.

Where there is no CIBC, a RapidTrans account will be used to transfer the deposits to the Brandon University branch of the CIBC. Currently, those centres are Swan River, Killarney, Boissevain, Deloraine, which use the Royal Bank and in Eriksdale, the Credit Union.

Deposits should be made on a regular basis as receipts warrant, but not less than weekly. The deposit detail form is for internal use only. The total on the deposit detail form must be the same as the total on the bank deposit slip. This form, as well as a copy of the bank deposit slip, is to be faxed to 204-726-4573 the morning following the day the deposit is made. This information will be used to credit the students’ accounts, and must be received in a timely manner. All information required on the deposit detail form is to be completed to ensure that the correct student account is credited.
