For the past ten years Campus Manitoba has been providing access to education in Carman and the surrounding rural areas. Our distance education approach has allowed students to maintain family life, current employment, and community commitments without having to bring upon life changes associated with relocating or commuting. We are located at the Ian N. Morrison Research Farm in the University of Manitoba Carman and Region Facility building, just west of Carman.

We offer courses from many of the colleges and universities within Manitoba through live lectures, online or independent study, or a combination of methods. Through Campus Manitoba, students can take courses to meet entrance requirements for a specific program, to complete their entire first year of university study, or just for general interests' sake. Students can even continue taking courses in their future years, depending on their educational goals. Because of our proximity to Winnipeg, students have been able to combine on-campus courses, distance education courses, and Campus Manitoba courses to earn their degree. In the past few years, there has been a large interest in areas such as Social Work, Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Developmental Studies, Medical Radiological Technology, and Business Administration, to name a few. Many of our students are recent graduates but each year, more and more students are enrolling as adult learners.
